Can somebody tell me how bloggers earn from Google Adsense? The clean and fair way of earning, I mean without cheating? Without encouraging other people to click on your advertisements? Without clicking on your own ads? I just don’t understand how
I had an adsense account for more than half a year and I’ve seen people doing that. Sorry to have to say this but the “click on me, I’ll click on you” system is not only against the rules but is also unfair.
I will admit that I was also tempted to participate but then again I realized that it’s not worth it. My self-respect is worth much more than a hundred dollars! Pay me two hundred and it’s a deal. Joke – hehe! Seriously, ill-gotten money will not make me happy. Call me hyprocrite for all you want, you can even slit my throat but I intend to stick with my values. If adsense is not for me, for sure there are better ways of augmenting my income. For now, I’ve already submitted a cancellation request to Google so my ads in I Love Sterndal will be totally removed. They say the clicks and impressions will be reviewed and if proven that those are valid, they will pay me 12 dollars. It’s just consuming space in my sidebar and not giving me anything in return so I think I’m fine without adsense.
Perhaps, Google should revise their policies. Like, it shouldn’t be just pay per click, they should also pay per, let’s say, one dollar per a thousand valid visitors. Ah … I don’t know what I’m talking about so this shouldn’t be taken seriously. My point is that if they are using the space, they should at least pay a minimal amount even if nobody’s clicking on it.
I think that AdSense works on the law of averages. If 1% of your visitors click on a link (which is not unreasonable), and if you have 1,000,000 visitors a month, that amounts to about 10,000 clicks. At an average of $0.50 a click, that’s about $5000.
I don’t think AdSense is a horrible system but in the overall scheme, it’s trickle income (at best). For most blogs, it doesn’t make sense. Of course Google will never tell you that
Thanks for leavin the comment about Hell Girl on my site!! And yeah, I’d never heard of it either until I was browsing the local library one day… really glad I found it!! I’m sure you can get it somewhere like amazon.com or somewhere like that. Amazon usually has access to tons of unheard of items and stuff like that. Hope this helped!!
Google Adsense, I just think that you need a big base of readers who are interested in what you wrote. I used to have a few hundreds a month from Adsense last time because I did a lot of marketing in Yahoo groups, forums and through email. I stopped that for a while already. Now I just keep the codes around. in my sites.
Pretty cool post. I just came by your site and wanted to say
that I have really enjoyed browsing your blog posts. Any way
I’ll be subscribing to your feed and I hope you post again soon!
Loved your latest post, by the way.
Actually adsense do pay you for more visits you get. that’s under ecpm. if your ecpm is higher then you’ll get more money for the visits. so far i have not encounter any problem with adsense. and i’m happy with it. not to mention i get paid from adsense quite a few times already. it is reasonable for them to have that policy because if not everyone would be earning thousands from adsense each week.
thank you for stopping by my blog
Oh no…I don’t know if my previous comment is published.
Anyway, i was saying…adsense do pay you for the visits you get in your blog. that’s the ecpm. the higher ecpm you get the higher money you;ll earn.
ive been using adsense for three years now, and they pay me quite promptly. so far i have no issue with adsense. and i’m happy with it.
thanks for stopping by my blog

Hi! thanks for visiting and commenting on my Miss World 2009 blog. I read this post of yours about quitting adsense and Ive been thinking that this does not work for me too. May I know how you contacted them? was it inside webmaster tools? and any suggestions on where to go after adsense? Thanks and Godbless! Mabuhay ang Pilipinas! Lets root for Marie-Ann Umali on the Miss World Pageant.
you can easily earn lots of dollars from adsense if you have a high traffic site.–`
