I got that photo below from a chain e-mail which I received a couple of days ago. Its subject line was “What would you do if you had money as plenty as this?” For a few minutes, I found myself in a deep thought. MMmmmm…Who can possibly resist the joy of spending too much on fabulous shoes and stylish clothes without having to worry about paying the bills? Wouldn’t it be nice to take that dream vacation to Europe? See the magnificent Eiffel Tower or the artistic La Sagrada Familia and just live like a millionaire? You can even support a cause that saves lives or better yet, you can establish your own foundation just like Brangelina or Oprah! The possibilities are literally endless! You can buy a rocket then fly to the moon or travel around the world using a spaceship
Or for the simpler people like me: buy all the yummy chocolates in the world, get a sexy tan in Hawaii, then go back to Manila, share all the freaking money that I got, and just live a normal life…haaay! sarap mangarap
What about you? How are you going to spend your money if you were filthy rich?
Think Rich
Magnificent Yet Unfinished
If there is one place in this world that I’m dying to visit, that would be Barcelona, Spain. I want to see with my own eyes the famous La Sagrada Familia which was designed by one very peculiar architect – Antonio Gaudí. His structural plan was full of intricacies and complexities, it won’t be finished until year 2026! And would you believe that Gaudí and his contemporaries started working on this masterpiece over a hundred years ago? Wow! They sure are not in a hurry to get it done, huh?
According to a documentary film I’ve watched on t.v., Gaudí’s architectural design was unique in such a way that when you look at one side of his work, it would be totally different from the other sides. No wonder why lots of tourists from all over the world are coming to Barelona to see this work of art.
In order for me to spend treasured moments in the Iberian peninsula, I would have to exchange all my pesos to euros. And based on my calculation, I also need to save half of my salaries for the next 20 years or more so I could afford the plane tickets, hotel accomodations, etc. Hehe! Just like Señor Gaudí, I think I’m also not in a hurry
Arriba Barcelona!
