Reading a novel is the last thing that I should be doing on times like this. I am already 2 days late for my deadline which is very alarming as “they” are beginning to lose interest in me. This means I should have been writing all day today but what did I do? That’s right! I read a 457-page novel
The book was about a poor girl who grew up in remote village. She wasn’t able to attend a formal school so she can’t even read and write. But on her 16th birthday, she found out that her great grand father left a $1,000,000 trust fund for her. And since she was completely illiterate, an Austin Trust Lawyer had to explain to her the details of the spendthrift funds. As it turned out, a million worth of money seemed so small for a big spender like her. The fact that she was deprived of the finer things in life while she was growing up enticed her to buy things she doesn’t really need such as branded bags, shoes and jewelries.
How I wish I also had a grandparent who would leave me such huge amounts. I swear I’d save money and be thrifty. Dream on, Sterndal! HAHA. I came from a very poor family so it’s impossible to happen. By the way, the character’s name is Olivia.
