Currently Browsing: buying things i really don’t need

Thoughts for today

I was just reading an article from Wikipedia and I learned that wisdom tooth appears at the age of 17-25 years. I’m 27 and haven’t got one until now. Is that normal? My dentist told me something about it last year but I’ve already forgotten what he said. I really should have set an appointment with him last month but the weather was a bit uncooperative, night shift is killing me and my social life, add the fact that the traffic in Divisoria is unimaginable during the rainy days. In other words, I’m lazy. But I’m crossing my fingers. I really have to call his secretary for an appointment within this month.

I found a slightly huge amount of money from the pocket of my old bag. Haha! What a lovely weekend surprise! And because this money was sort of unexpected, I couldn’t decide on what to purchase with it. Thing is, I’ve been wanting to buy a new bag since June but for some reasons, I had  to prioritize other things such as giving gifts to family members for their birthdays. Besides, my mother already gave me a bag last week. It was a beautiful black shoulder bag made of synthetic leather and shiny bling-blings, that’s how I call it, with a cute metal tag that says “Dolce and Baggana.” Cute but too corporate-looking. Friends will surely tease me by asking “are you the company owner?” Don’t get me wrong. Mom has a good taste, I just wish the spelling of the brand was correct. But of course, I’m going to use it.

Cozy Feel

Personally, I prefer a bed made of tropical woods or peeled logs because it creates a nice inviting atmosphere. If only I could afford it, I want a bedroom with a log cabin look, something that I only see in my grandmother’s house in Cebu and beach resorts in Batangas. By simply looking at the photo below, you will have an idea on how I want my cabin bed to look like. It looks exactly the same except that the color of the wood is darker, the pillows are bigger, and the blankets would be pure white. Some people may think that a rustic furniture looks plain and old-fashioned but for me they give a look of natural beauty. I even heard that these beds are strong and durable so they would surely last for many years.
