I have no permission to share this video but I hope it’s okay. This man here inspires me to take guitar lessons. As in! For me he’s the best guitarist ever! Okay, next to dad. But my father’s forte is chromonica. I think it’s a rare musical instrument. Dad is the only person I know who can play it. This is how it looks like – link. In my country, YuYu Hakusho is known as Ghost Fighters but I think the correct English translation is Poltergeist Report.
Okay, I know this Japanese anime is practically old, about 16 or 18 years, but for me it’s one of the best anime series in history. Better than Flame of Recca and Card Captor Sakura.
Who’s your favorite YYH character?
I’m a fan of Eugene (Yusuke) but I also like Vincent (Hiei). I am drawn to Vincent’s sarcastic and elusive personality and his tragic past has always intrigued me.
I also like that he’s very protective of his sister, Mikaela (Yukina). They are actually twins but he is a fire demon while she is an ice maiden.
They are born in Koorime, a floating country made of ice. It is an all-female society where women are strictly forbidden to marry a man. Every 100 years, they give birth to a girl. Always a daughter, never a son.
When the twin was born, they thought Vincent would bring curse and destruction to the community. So he was taken away from his mother and was thrown off a cliff to die. But before that, his mother told him to be strong and come back to kill the ice maidens.
The infant managed to survive the cold winter. He was adopted by thieves where he grew up with a thirst for revenge. In his adult years, he came back to Koorime and learned that his mother committed suicide and that his twin sister left to search for him.
On that day, he had a change of heart. He realized that killing the women of Koorime is nonsense. The ice maidens are emotionless. Their hearts are as cold as ice. It’s like ice is circulating their veins instead of blood. For Vincent, they are as good as dead.
I want him to tell Mikaela that he is the long lost brother that she’s been looking for. But he never revealed his identity. Instead, he advised her to stop waiting around for a brother who might be dead.
Apparently, when Vincent was searching for Mikaela, he asked Sigure to implant a third eye on his forehead. The price which Sigure asked is that Vincent should hold his tongue about his true relationship with Mikaela. That was their agreement.
I eagerly waited for the final episode just so I could find out if Vincent’s going to tell the truth but I was slightly disappointed. He remained faithful to his character. Aloof and anti-social with a different sense of “code of honor.”
The author did not clarify if Mikaela knows the truth. However, this was her response: “I guess, that is the sort of advice a girl might get from her brother.” So, you be the judge if she knows or not

I wish I could go back to year 1995 when me, and my siblings, and my friends were singing Tell the world of His love. That was the year of innocence and pure love. When all that matters was telling the world about His love. I sang that song with all my heart! I was just 11 years old then but there was a lump in my throat as I was singing the part “walk every step, every mile, every road, and tell the world of His love.” I really felt its meaning and the responsibility that comes with it.
Libelous blogging?

This is what I’ve learned today. When you blog, make sure you change all identifiable details like names of people, age, address, profession, etc. Whatever happens, just don’t be specific. Why? Actually, this is only necessary if you are making chismis in your blog. Haha. The person concerned might chance upon your site and file a libel case against you.
The following requisites must concur in order for a blog post to be considered as libelous:
- Must be defamatory. I think this means that your blog entry obviously intends to create a negative impression for the person involved.
- Must be malicious. Gossip. Talking about other people’s lives.
- Must be given publicity. Using SEO techniques? Like promoting the slanderous post in Facebook and Twitter so that the buong sambayanan will know of what you wrote about the victim. I think this also falls under cyber bullying.
- The victim must be identifiable. That’s why I was telling you to be discreet. Change names, don’t reveal home address, keep your tweets private, etc.
The absence of the last requisite is a good defense. Or delete the post so they can’t use it as electronic evidence. Well, if the victim is smart, she must have already saved a screen shot or an html copy so the best solution is really to change names when blogging. Remember that in libel, even if the defamatory statements are true, the crime is still committed. But hey! I’m a nice blogger. So who needs this post? *Shrug

Personally, I’m not a fan of small thin lips. Even if my friends and almost everyone in this country thinks that it’s cute and adorable, I still think that a fuller mouth is more appealing and sexier. Probably it’s because I myself have full lips (so I’m biased) and I’ve also been influenced by Hollywood stars like Angelina Jolie and Julia Roberts. But I’m not saying that small lips are ugly. I’m just appreciating myself. He he he.
Anyway, I found a Spanish website earlier today about the benefits of collagen but could not understand the article completely because as I’ve said it was presented in Spanish. But I was able to translate some of the content into English with the help of Google Translator. So here are some of the things that I’ve discovered:

Really? I mean I’m 28 but I look 18 LOL. Don’t believe me. The picture I have in Facebook was taken when I was 25.
- Xhekpon crema antiarrugas again it’s Spanish so let me explain (as if!). When you use facial products containing collagen, one of the benefits that you can get out of it is that your wrinkles will disappear and your skin will feel tighter and smoother. Ask you doctor.
- Xhekpon contorno ojos y labios This is the part I love most. It also enhances the contours of your eyes and lips. I think my eyes are hopeless. It’s tiny and they say I look braver than a tiger. But I want to fix my lips. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t want to undergo any surgical procedure. I just want my lips to appear smoother not chappy.
- Xhekpon Mask Oh my. I used to do this back in college. I was so self conscious so I bought a mask. The kind that you put on your face before going to sleep. Then you’ll have to wash it off in the morning and see all the dirt and blackheads go away. I only used a few nights.
- Kondenset Champú colágeno how many times do you shampoo your hair in a week? Somebody told me to use shampoo only 3 times a week. But I use it everyday. I think that’s the reason why I see my hair strands everywhere. Maybe I should heed her advice or maybe I should use a collagen shampoo to treat my tress?
Quite frankly, I’m not an expert about collagen. So consult your physician if you want to give it a try
