Crazy Pricey Lappie

It took me more than a month just to decide whether I’m going to buy a pre-owned laptop or a brand new one, and another whole month to choose between prepaid and postpaid internet plan. I have always been hesitant to invest hard earned money in such a very expensive equipment so I had to carefully consider price differences. I didn’t care about computer specs such as memory, optical drive, graphics and the like, I am honestly ignorant about those things anyway. All I wanted was something that would allow me to blog and visit my facebook account. Then someone advised me second-hand gadgets are usually nearly-damaged and unreliable. At least if I’m going to purchase a brand new laptop, I can be sure every single part is working properly. And so I chose this HP Compaq CQ40 635TU, not necessarily high-end like a MacBook yet powerful enough to support my internet addiction. I’m so loving it! I just regret that I chose a prepaid internet plan. I realized postpaid is less expensive :(

There is one thing this laptop brought out of me – my interest in technology which I thought was long forgotten. When I was in college I really really wanted to have my own PC. I was supporting my self back then and although I had no tuition fees to worry about I still couldn’t afford one. Years passed by and truth is, I think I’ve already lost my thirst for anything considered techie. But now that I have this lappie, I am more than excited to familiarize myself with installing programs and troubleshooting. I especially want Windows Office 2007 and Adobe Photoshop Elements 8.
