Having a higher page rank means more opportunities. To tell the truth, I’m not very happy with my current Google Page Rank. My blog got a PR2 in less than a month but didn’t improve until now. I tried exchanging links with other bloggers but it seems that I’m stuck with PR2 forever. Considering how seldom I update my posts and how few my incoming links are, PR2 is not really surprising. I wonder if Link Building will help me obtain at least PR7. I know I’m too ambitious to be wishing for a PR7 but with all honesty, I want to experience it. Maybe I should submit my URL in search engines but I’m just too lazy to do all those things. I want to exchange links with more bloggers but it suddenly felt awkward to ask strangers for link exchange. It’s weird but when I was still starting a new blog, I was such a thick-faced in asking everyone to put my link in their blogroll. I don’t know why. Now, my blog’s been rejected with some get-paid to blog websites so I’m a bit disappointed. But I’m still happy because at least I am able to renew my web host plan until next year, and hopefully my other 3 blogs’ plan will be renewed too this August.
US Immigration Support Link Exchange Program
Today is a very pretty day
I’ve been searching for ways on how to get free backlinks and I’m very lucky to discover about U.S. Immigration Support Link Exchange program. Somebody told me that I will need to spend lots of money if I want to have PR6 or above backlinks. But why will I pay if I can have it for free? All I have to do is go to this site tomorrow (because I’m too busy right now with some other things plus I’m too lazy to open my FTP):
http://www.usimmigrationsupport.org/linkexchange.html
Then add their link in my websites. Looks like the one below or if it doesn’t look good in my sidebar, I can also opt for banners and images.
Title: USCIS
URL: http://www.usimmigrationsupport.org/uscis.html
Description: The USCIS, or the United States Citizen and Immigration Service, is a department within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). The USCIS was created by the Homeland Security Act of 2002. The USCIS consists of approximately 15,000 employees and 250 field offices around the world.
Next, fill up a short form about my sites and where they can find the reciprocal link and finally wait for two business days for processing.
I’m confident my blogs will be accepted because the only requirement is to add their link and as soon as they are able to locate it, a reciprocal link to my websites will be posted on their Resources Page. USCIS has a page rank of 6 and has more than 45,000 unique hits per day that’s why I really really really want to exchange links with them. I’ll let you know once my blog gets approved.
Got My Page Rank Back
Just a few days after I submitted a reconsideration request for my other blog, I Love Sterndal, Google restored my Page Rank 3. I thought I will have to wait for months for my request to be processed so I was very pleased when I received a message in my webmaster account after just 5 days. They said they’ve already reviewed my site and it seems that they didn’t find any violation so I got my PR back. Here is a copy of my request:
***
Hello Sir/Ma’am,
A few months ago, my blog I Love Sterndal had a page rank of 3. Admittedly, I did some sponsored posts from PPP, Loudlaunch, Blogsvertise and Blogtoprofit so it didn’t surprise me anymore when my page rank dropped from 3 to flat 0. I knew it very well that this is against Google’s rules and regulations. Kindly check my site again. All of my paid links have been removed and I also no longer have the intention of doing paid posts again. I am confident that this request will not be rejected as my blog is now complying with Google’s Quality Guidelines.
Thank you
Yours,
Sterndal
